Course Outline

Course corresponds to the EASA approved training syllabus and enables participants to gain competence in theoretical and practical line & base maintenance. The training will be conducted in the classroom and on the aircraft.

Target Group

Technical personnel in aircraft maintenance or engineering

Prerequisites

Basic English, aviation related technical vocabulary

Objectives

Name, identify and locate aircraft system using proper terminology
Apply relevant safety precautions
Inspections
Servicing
System operational and functional tests
Rigging and adjustment
Determine aircraft airworthiness in accordance with MEL/CDL
Awareness of special test equipment and tooling
Describe component installation and removal procedures

Completion Standard

Minimum participation: 90%
Minimum pass mark per examination: 75%
